As Mike Huckabee is still in the Republican nomination race, it’s just making me sick. Not only is this meaning that McCain still has to focused on getting those little bit of delegates, he can not fully focus on national fundraising and campaigning for president. It is mathmatically impossible for Huckabee to get the needed delegates to win, and according to the McCain camp, if they get all of Mitt Romney’s delegates, who dropped out to help unite the Republican party under the clear leader of McCain and has now endorsed McCain and released his delegates in favor of McCain. Now this is what Huckabee should do. I remember just a couple of weeks back I had been looking for a McCain/Huckabee ticket for the presidency, but as now as I see it, that will/should not happen. If McCain is really smart, he should choose Romney. I don’t see Clinton and Obama getting together, so the top two Republicans candidates would be the “dream team” of the party.
Just think of it. A “liberal conservative” with moderate views that lead to conservative values, plus a “conservative” who is a really good business/economic leader. One had great military and leadership background, and the other a really good business back ground and is a good choice to help our falling economy. On the other side, it seems like Obama will most likely win unless Clinton just shows up at all the rest of the big states. In that case… hypothetically speaking the two become the best of friends and choose each other as their running mate. On one sides you have another Clinton, but this one is a socialist and pledges universal health care and troops out of the Middle East 50 days after she is in office, and young man, with little leadership, socialist, and believed as many as a Muslim(not saying anything bad about them).
Last, I believe that on the Democrat side, many are behind a candidate because of what they are, not who they are and what they believe. America has a chance of getting a first woman or black person as president/vice president. Many women are for Clinton, many blacks… excuse me “African Americans”… are behind Obama. Republicans I believe at least know who the people are. McCain is a former Navy captain, POW in Vietnam, and has been in office for years. Romney is a leading governor, businessman, and economist. And… even though I am sick to say it, Huckabee, is a Baptist preacher, governor, and super conservative. Of course, you can pick who you want, but please pick without ignorance, KNOW who you are voting for.
