Why Choose Bob Barr?

The Reasons Why Bob Barr Is The Best Candidate For President:

Third party candidates never have done much success in presidential elections. There have been two main parties throughout the history of the United States, from Federalist and Anti-Federalist, to the Democrats and Republicans of today. Now is the time for change, and in an election that is promoting “Change That We Can Believe In”, we need a real politician who can actually perform the changes that will be beneficial to our country. Bob Barr of the Libertarian Party is the choice for everyone to become the change that the United States needs so much.

How is Bob Barr “change”?

Well, for one he is not running under the Democrat or Republican party, but the Libertarian party. The Libertarian party has gain much ground in political positions throughout the country, and some American people are seeing this party as the party of the future, the party that can provide the much needed “change” that everyone is talking about.

What is the Libertarian party, and were did it come from?

The Libertarian party came about in 1971, or so says its logo. The Libertarians “seek a world of liberty; a world in which all individuals are sovereign over their own lives and no one is forced to sacrifice his or her values for the benefit of other”. The Libertarian party has been around for some time, and the Libertarian ideals have been around even longer. They believe in small government, less taxes, lower government spending, and more civil liberties. They believe Americans should remain free, and not be controled by the government. Where did they come from though? Well, I think much popularity came about from Ron Paul, who was running under the Republican party where many seen him as crazy. Others though, were crazy for Paul. Many of his supporters would flood polls, and place signs everywhere to get his name out, and it kind of worked. Paul did grab some delegates, but not nearly enough to compete. When Bob Barr decided to run under the Libertarian party, it also gave a boost in its popularity. Bob Barr was a former Republican Congressman from Georgia, but left the party due to the current administrations policies and infringement of civil liberties. Now with Bob Barr being the nominee, and Ron Paul supporting him, Barr has the crazy supporters that will go out there and spread the word, and will give Barr a fighting chance. Like Bob Barr said it, he is in for the win, and he sees this race as a three party race.

So why Bob Barr?

Well, Bob Barr makes sense. Let me break his agenda down for you.

He believes the government should spend less money, and what money it needs to spend, they need to do it better. Remember, the government gets its money from your taxes, so they are wasting your money.

He wants fierce tax reform. He dislikes income tax. Think about it, why should you be taxed on what you make, why not tax items that you buy? Doesn’t that make more sense. He also believes we need to repeal the 16th Amendment, which for those who don’t know, states that Congress has the authority to levy an income tax. Bob Barr also like the Fair Tax, especially the ability that under the Fair Tax that the 16th Amendment is repealed.

Bob Barr believes in reinstating the civil liberties that our founding fathers belived in. You know that Patriot Act. It seems like it was a good idea, you know, search out those terrorist. What many people don’t know is that it gives the power for the government to snoop around in you search. You remember that 4th Amendment? Yea it’s coming to you - it protects citizens from unlawful searches and seizures. That means the government needs reason and proof to search or inprison you.

Bob Barr also believes that Americans are good enough to make their own decisions. We do not need the government to tell us what to eat, how to educate ourselves, how to illuminate our houses. All Americans should be free to decide what is best for themselves and their families, but they also must know and accept the consequences of their decisions, whether good or bad.

He also wants secure borders, from the north and the south. We should not have to worry about foreign criminals, carriers of diseases, terrorist, and other threats from entering out great country undetected. For those already here, we do not need to protect them. If they came illegally, they are illegal. Also, until all governments take a unified front on the problem, Barr believes that it is the federal government’s responsibility to fix and maintain the situation.

Finally, Bob Barr believes that for took long American has been the “police force” of the world, but we are not. We do not need to involve ourselves in wars that do not involve us. We must respect other countries to fix their own problems. If though, the United States is attacked, the aggressor  experience firsthand the skillful wrath of the American fighting man. But we shall not invade another nation upon threats and speculative intelligence.

So, if you are not even considering Bob Barr right now, then you must be having a connection problem with the common sense portion of your brain. Below is a breakdown of the above - a more simplistic view of what was previously said:

1. The government should spend less money, and when the spend it they should do it responsibly.
2. Taxing income is not good. We should repeal the ability for the government to impose income taxes, and we should impose something like a national sales tax, Fair Tax.
3. Americans have their liberties, and it is time for them to know that they are protected. The government cannot invade your privacy unless there is due reason and proof.
4. The government should not make decision for its people, but the people should make their own decisions. The people must also take responsibility for the consequences of their decisions, either good or bad.
5.  Our borders need to be secure, and currently they are not. We should not feel threaten that our country can be invaded undetected by terrorist, criminals, and disease carriers.
5. Last, we should not enter wars unless we are attacked first. The United States is not the police force of the world, and we should not enter any war that doesn’t harm us.

Was that a little bit easier for you? Well I hope so. Bob Barr should be your candidate of choice now. So what should you do with all this information? Spread it of course. Spread the word of Bob Barr, as there are many ways to do it. Blog about him, add him to Facebook or Myspace, check him out on YouTube him, and even Digg. Keep spreading the word, and tell your friends and other supporter to spread the word as well. With the help of everyone, Bob Barr can be the next president, and you can be apart of history being on of the supporters of a “third-party candidate” who can, and will, win.

Don’t agree with much that BB says, but he would be better than BO… too bad a vote for BB will help BO more than him.

You should vote for the person who you think will do the best job. If all the people who are out there that say they would vote for Bob Barr, but by doing so would take votes away from John McCain, and thus making it much easier for Barack Obama to win, well let me tell you this.

There are many people who say that, and if those people would vote for Bob Barr, they would be sending a message. Plus, if these people helped spread the word, they could gain others who are thinking about Bob Barr too. Even if Barack Obama wins, and it is due to this, you will give the Republican party a strong message: “We want you to change your agendas”.

True that third parties have not done so well in the past, but these third parties have gave a message to the other two, and they usually listen.

This year though, with the whole “change” idea going around, why not have some real change. Real change would not be electing the same old Republican and Democratic nominations, but having a third party actually compete. This could be a chance to change history, and to bring about prosperity back to America.

Bob Barr is the candidate that proposes real change. Vote for him, and you will be voting for a better America.

You misunderstood my point :) I do NOT want to vote for Bob Barr; he isn’t exactly what I want. I simply stated he would be MUCH better than Barry O.

If Obama wins, it will be hell on this country; a man like Bob shouldn’t want to be a part of Barry’s coronation simply to make a point eh?

No, I was just stating that you should vote for who you think is the best candidate, no matter what party they are from.

And yes, if Barack Obama wins the presidency, it could be tough, but we would just have to wait and see. I don’t like his ideas, and I don’t like the socialism that is coming from him, but if the ignorant American people want him, then he will win.

Also, the people who say Bob Barr entrance in the race will steal votes from John McCain and make him lose, well listen here. Many Republicans (really conservative) dislike McCain due to the fact that he isn’t really a conservative at all. Bob Barr is more of a conservative. If the people who are only voting for John McCain because he is labeled under the Republican party, voted for Bob Barr because they like him better even though he is in a third party, then then Bob Barr would have a better chance at defeating Barack Obama.

Like I said though, you should vote and support the candidate that you agree with the most. For me it is Bob Barr. For you it could be anyone.

This presidential election is going to be a defining point in history. This country is hemorrhaging badly . Selling off hard assets to pay down debt, struggling with high gas prices and inflation. We have a mortgage meltdown, a weak dollar and food prices that are only going to go higher. I certainly respect your right to vote for who you think is going to be the best candidate, however I don’t think this is the time to be making a statement when this country may even as some suggest may be going into a depression. We need your vote to count now, not in the future. I believe in Sen. Barak Obama and if you want to see what the opposition is really like visit my website to see what Sen. John McCain is really like. What the media won’t tell you.

I believe that the media tells us more about John McCain, especially fault wise, than they do Barack Obama.

For example, I haven’t heard much from the media that Obama voted for the latest wiretapping bill, which basically took away our right to privacy. If this passes all the way through, it will be more anti-American than the Patriot Act.

I’m not in this to make a statement. Bob Barr sees this as a three man presidential race. I believe Barr can win, especially if we can get Americans to vote on what is American, and what is right for our country. Barack Obama is a socialist, and that is what we don’t need. America is for freedom, for democracy, and for small government, not for the government to run everything from what we buy at the store, to what job we work. Don’t get me wrong, John McCain has his faults to, but the best candidate, and the right candidate for this country as I see it is Bob Barr.
