Excellent point there Guy. Many Americans have become obsessed with the entertainment of politics, and not the real entertainment that political lovers know of, but the silly fights, the fads, and everything else that doesn't really matter in politics.

I also was going to mention this but never found a good way to do it. I was fixing the magazine rack at my store, and I seen I think the National Enquirer that Bush was caught doing Cocaine. I never read the story or anything, but with stories like that, plus others like "Hillary's secret lesbian lover" and stuff is just wrong in politics.

America will only change when it realizes that the left vs. right, social class/political war, is only there because Americans want it there as entertainment.

Excellent point there. You do have to work yourself and your ideals from the bottom up. You have to create a strong base before you build a tall tower, if not, it will fall.

I think the main problem with some of the state and local elections is that there is not much information given out. For example: Did you know that a couple weeks ago Alabama had it's primaries for general election? Well, I had heard about it, and seen some signs, but the usual local media coverage was not there. Matter of fact, it wasn't until I turned the radio on that morning that I heard the DJ state that today is voting day. Big things could of happen, just that I didn't know about it.

And if I haven't heard about it, think about everyone else around Mobile though of it all.

And participate in state in local elections. That's where most of the stuff is done. The president is just a figure head for the rest of the governments. Yes with an s.
